MARRIAGE OF GIOVANI PIZZATO AND MAFALDA
Son of Antônio Pizzato – which came from Italy back in 1875 and started to plant the first vineyards of the family in Brazil – Giovani Pizzato married Mafalda, and kept the vineyards and started to look for better techniques and improvement in the grape production.
CHANGING THE CONDUCTION SYSTEM
Plínio Pizzato, with lots of pioneering, started during the 80s to change the vineyards conduction system to the vertical ones. Always looking for better grapes!
THE PURCHASE OF THE WINERY BUILDING
Chasing the dream, Plínio used his savings to buy and old building from Garibaldi Winery. This is where Pizzato Winery is currently located.
VINEYARD MANAGEMENT
The improvement in the vineyards management continues, and the winery project starts to materialize.
BIRTH OF PIZZATO VINES AND WINES
With his wife and sons help, the family dream finally takes shape: The Pizzato Winery rises!
