Este vinho é o que melhor representa a história da Pizzato, tendo sido elaborado em todas as colheitas, desde a primeira, em 1999; em tal colheita foi o único a ser elaborado a partir de vinhedos próprios no Vale dos Vinhedos, local onde a família Plínio Pizzato foi pioneira na condução em espaldeiras (simples e lira) desde meados dos anos 1980.
Desde a primeira edição, ajudou a definir o que é hoje a base dos vinhos tintos com Denominação de Origem Vale dos Vinhedos (D.O.V.V.): apenas os varietais Merlot 100% e os vinhos de corte com pelo menos 60% Merlot podem ter tal certificação.

Dark red with purple traces, dense; ripen red fruit, red fruit syrup, plum, spices, chocolate traces in the nose; well balanced, soft tannins, medium to high bodied, long finish with spices, prune and moca aftertaste. *average perceived
Beef or game. Medium spiced or mushromm based pastas and risottos, maturated cheese.
The best drinking temperature range is 16 – 18 oC (60 – 64 oF). Decanting could improve it.

The grapes were destemmed, crushed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with a 15-day maceration time; then it was naturally malolactic fermented (no inoculation). The wine was aged on 1st use French oak barrels before bottling. The toasting policy for the barrels is intended to highlight the Merlot potential (garagiste toasting).
From the same vineyard that produced the grapes for Pizzato Merlot 1999 (the wine that raised Merlot to an outstanding position in the Brazilian red winemaking industry), PIZZATO presents this very exclusive Merlot, made only in vintages with excellent growing conditions. The old vineyard low yield and good extraction winemaking result in a wine with very good ageing potential.
Concentus, from Latin, means harmony, concert, agreement. This wine embodies the enological art of mixing different varietals (grapes, wines) with the purpose of producing higher-class wines. It is a blend of Merlot, Tannat and Cabernet Sauvignon, all grown within the Vale dos Vinhedos and used in different percentages in each harvest.
